Microsoft Word vs. Google Drive
I designed two different lesson plans--one with Microsoft Word and one with Google Drive (formerly known as Google Docs). My focus is teaching English as a Second Language to beginning and intermediate level learners. Therefore, I focused my lesson plans on activities that allowed the students to learn new vocabularly, practice speaking in front of groups, and defend their opinions in English. Through this project, I learned the differences between the formatting and features of Microsoft and Google Drive. I included a document comparing and contrasting the different word processors. In the future, I believe I will use Google Docs more regularly because of its simplicity and the easy access it allows to other views or editors.
